At Ysgol Derwenfa Our after school club is registered by Leeswood Under 5s who also share our school site.
Our after school club runs until 5.15 p.m every day. The club is open to all our pupils from Reception to Year 6. It is ideal for parents who work longer hours and find it difficult to pick their child up during school hours.
To book into the club you must or text Miss Megan Looby on 07842103294 the week before you require your child to attend. It is imperative that plenty of notice is given when booking in as this enables the After School Club team to prepare accordinly.
If you are unable to book in the week before or phone to book in on the day, After School Club will only be able to accommodate your child if the club is not already full.
There are many activities that take place during club hours. They have games, i pads and computers and there are plenty of opportunities for children to draw, colour and undertake a variety of craft activities.
When the weather is good the children can access our fantastic grounds including our sensory garden, forest, gazebos, balance beams, sports pitches and play castle.
